About Omnibucket

What is Omnibucket?

Omnibucket is a small-press publisher. Kinda.

My catch phrase du jour is "Because words are better with pictures and music." But no one else here knows that but me.

Actually, we're a group of creatives who are very good at coming up with cool ideas for books and book-like multimedia projects. We're also very good at taking them from concept to completion in a variety of media. And we're very good at designing these projects and products such that they really don't fit neatly into a predefined genre.

What we are not very good at is doing the same thing twice. So we're not really creating a new genre of book, but we are messing with the notion in a variety of experimental ways.

Also, we're not very good at distribution. Partly because our brains get distracted easily when they're not focused on a new idea. And partly because we never really have much money to put towards larger production. Hence the limited print runs. And sometimes no print runs at all. But we like the physical artifact, so if there isn't a print run it's probably because we ran out of money.
So we could use some help there.

Wait, what?

You want the marketing version, don't you? OK, here it is.

Omnibucket was started by artists, writers, and musicians to expand the medium of each one into something more, something that could benefit from the strength of each. These people now also act as a rotating core group of creative producers who oversee an evolving pool of contributing talent in the form of emerging artists, writers, musicians, and multimedia designers who are actively solicited and promoted to do collaborative work together. Omnibucket collaborates with emerging talent and maintains its membership in some of the largest creative communities in the world to stay fresh and relevant.
